Shamanic Illumination:

In the purest sense of the word, illumination means “lighting something up.” When a client asks for an Illumination, they are basically asking a shaman to shed light on a particular issue or concern in order to bring healing to One’s soul.  

The purpose of  a shamanic illumination is to accomplish 4 things:     

1. To burn up the sludge & deposits adhering to the walls of the chakras.  This promotes longevity and strengthens the immune system.

2. To combust the toxic energy around malignant physical and emotional ‘imprints’. This is the fuel the ‘imprint’ uses to express itself.

3. To scour clean the ‘imprints’ in the luminous energy field or light body. When ‘imprints’ are removed, you can readily release negative emotions and behaviors. The power of the immune system is unleashed and physical healing is accelerated.

4. To bring about healing at the source, the level of the ‘imprint’.

It’s important to note that years of therapy cannot clear an ‘imprint’. Some people find it difficult to overcome a trauma while others rise above great trauma. The difference is being able to heal in the midst of the trauma. When we discover compassion and forgiveness in the midst of pain, no residual energies will remain.

Psychologists believe once you’re cognizant of complexes and drives you become free of their noxious influence. Shamans believe the intellectual aspect barely scratches the surface. As a matter of fact, shamans love to hear about their client’s stories, but we want them to know they are NOT their story. To change that we need to access the ‘imprint’. 

During an illumination a shaman will typically scan the Light Body for crystallized and liquid energies.  Once detected, the shaman utilizes his energy tools to remove them and to cauterize the affected area. More importantly the shaman will work with the client to change their affinity toward this energy so it will not return.  

Crystallized Energy is ‘stationary’ or ‘stagnant’ energy which has typically manifested itself over time.   These ‘imprints’ can present themselves anywhere within the Light Body and usually do so in various forms.
